Moldex Industries was set up by a dynamic entrepreneur Mr Kishore Devidas Rajda in 1964 after his return from the UK where he interned and learnt about Ferro Alloys at the global pioneer London and Scandinavian Metals and Ferro Alloys , the Indian foundry and steel industry was in a very nascent stage in those days and had just started to lay the foundations for the very critical industry and indigenisation for the country
Mr Devidas, as he is popularly known , saw an opportunity in initially only trading and subsequently setting up one of the earliest production facilities for AluminoThermic production of Ferro Alloys in 1977 at the current site in Umbergaon , Gujarat . We have since then been partners to the foundry industry and have grown in strength as we continue to support the industry as their partners in Ferro Alloys for over 50 years now after we first commenced business . Currently headed by his son Mr Parag Rajda, we strive to remain trusted and reliable partners to our customers . We have been ISO certified since 2004 and constant improvement and risk mitigation form the core of our approach.
We started exports of Ferro Sulphur in 1995 , largely to very quality conscious markets in Germany , Spain , South Korea and Japan , we continue to service some of the same customers to date with relationships over 2 decades old , we are their trusted source for quality material and competitive rates .
